Texas Tech safety Austin Stewart was hit by a bus on campus while riding his motorized scooter, according to The Dallas Morning News.
Texas Tech athletics spokesperson Blayne Beal told the paper that Stewart sustained minor injuries. He was transported to the University Medical Center where he was treated by team physicians and trainers.
Linebacker Chris Payne said on Twitter that Stewart was riding his scooter when he was hit.
Stewart transferred to Texas Tech from Pierce Community College in Woodland Hills, Calif.
